The Deluge is a historical film based on the novel of the same name. It tells a story of fictional Polish noble man Andrei Kmita during the Swedish invasion of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the XVII century. Times change, but the hero remains the same, although in the XIX century he was considered a protagonist, while in the XXI an antagonist.
